How to get to the city from Arturo Merino Benitez Airport

When you arrive to the airport Arturo Merino Benitez (SCL), you have 3 different options:

Taxis

This is the fastest and most comfortable way, albeit the most expensive. There are two official taxi companies, Taxi Oficial (www.taxioficial.cl) and Taxi vip (http://www.transvip.cl/). This way you can get to the hotel directly. They function 24/7 and the fees will vary depending on which district you Hotel is located on.

Transfers

You can also get there by transfer. There are two official transfer companies, Transfer Delfos (www.transferdelfos.cl) and TransferVip (www.transvip.cl). You can book your transfer on the airport, although you might have to wait for enough passengers for the transfer to leave. Transfers also work around the clock. Fees will vary depending on which district your hotel is located. Bear in mind that if you want to get from your hotel to the airport by transfer, you must book a place at least 24 hours before your flight.

Buses

There are two oficial bus companies, Turbus (www.turbus.cl) and CentroPuerto (www.centropuerto.cl). These arrive at different metro stations of the Santiago subway system. They leave with a time interval of around 10 min between buses (15 min on weekends) from 6:00a.m. to 23.30p.m. Buses charge around 3USD (1500 CLP) for a one way ticket
